The 3D Africa HackforGood2018 event kicks off tommorw (August 2, 2018) inside the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, Nigeria. Organised by Youth for Technology Foundation (YTF), the second edition of hardware hackathon, a platform of YTF is being co-hosted with the University of Lagos.
Over 50 young talents across Nigeria are being hosted to explore solutions for the country’s pressing challenges in the areas of agriculture, security, transportation, healthcare and fintech.
The 72 hours 3D Africa HackforGood challenge kicks off August 2 and ends August 4, 2018 – a marathon of wits and creativity. The challenge will leverage on the power of emerging technologies like 3D printing, Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligent (AI) among others to develop exciting products that will tackle the country’s challenges.
“This event will attract participants including university students, technology entrepreneurs as mentors and industry professionals from across the country, as well as global partners and a host of other big tech players. And we are hopeful that our global reach as an international non-profit organization will provide many opportunities for valuable and mutually beneficial partnerships for your reputable organization,” said Software Design Lead, YTF, Mr. Promise Chukwuenyem.
