The Commonwealth Entrepreneur Club (CE) has appointed Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Jega as Ambassador and Member of the CE.
The Club is an international network of hundreds of experts in business and government with the aim of driving economic and social outcomes through collaboration to create jobs and alleviate poverty. The core mandate of CE Club is to facilitate and promote international trade by way of shared advice, business networking events, conferences and seminars.
The CE is also a global business membership organisation that provides a unique business networking and trade development platform for small to medium sized businesses. The CE Club business members span the world across 78 countries worldwide.
Speaking on his appointment, Mr. Mohammed said he is excited about the new appointment as an ambassador and member of the Commonwealth Entrepreneur Club as it’s an opportunity to meet and network with entrepreneurs amongst the 54 common wealth countries with a population of over 2.5 billion people and 10 trillion dollars economy. According to him, one can only imagine the growth and development this network will bring to Nigeria’s promising entrepreneurs and the great impact it will have on Africa at large.
Jega is the Co-founder of Domineum, a blockchain enabled registry and real estate solutions. He is also the Founder of Startup Arewa, a non- governmental organization designed to build a sustainable northern tech ecosystem and unlocking the potentials of the region. He was appointed ambassador of the CE Club together with other hardworking individuals and entrepreneurs across the globe.
Due to his exemplary leadership, he was appointed Member of Presidential advisory committee on Innovation and creativity. Furthermore, Mr. Jega was honored as winner of the best entrepreneur category of Africa LinkedIn Influencer Awards 2020.
His passion for charity does not leave out, therefore Mr. Jega uses his corporate and social responsibilities as the Founder, Startup Arewa to support innovators and startups in developing and deploying innovative solutions across the northern Nigeria states and beyond.
Jega has passion for business and therefore uses his opportunities to impact knowledge to the upcoming young entrepreneurs.
