According to a recent report by Semrush, United Bank for Africa (UBA) has emerged as the most visited banking website in Nigeria, with 2.36 million visits recorded in June.

The Semrush report, titled ‘Top Websites in Nigeria (Banking Industry),’ also ranked Paystack second with 2.23 million visits, followed by Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO Plc) with 1.25 million visits.

Nigerian financial institutions have been heavily investing in technology, resulting in websites and mobile apps that facilitate seamless online banking. With the rapid adoption of these digital channels, it is projected that by 2030, over 75% of banking transactions in Nigeria will not require physical visits to bank branches.
