Tomruk iHub Multiverse has announced 23rd to the 28th of March 2020 as date for its annual #SMSGAfrica Conference. The 4th Social Media for Social Good conference holds in Jos, capital of Plateau State in central Nigeria.
The week-long conference will commence on the 23rd of March with a three-day intensive incubation programme followed by another three days of talks, panel sessions, SDG’s Award and an opportunity for startups to pitch their ideas and get funding.
Last year, the conference had about 32 speakers and 220 attendees from non-profits, private sector, government and the academia.
Designed as a collective effort to provide developmental thoughts on best practices to achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs) before 2030 and make people use innovative tools like social media, responsibly, the 2020 edition of #SMSGAfrica Conference is fostered around the theme of ‘Accelerating Entrepreneurial Solutions in Nigeria (SOAR).’
“SOAR aims to accelerate entrepreneurial solutions to Nigeria’s most pressing problems by uniting social innovators and entrepreneurs with essential partners in a collaborative pursuit of learning, leverage, and large-scale social change.
