Somention, the largest independent social media agency in the Netherlands, has announced its strategic takeover of saas platform Influentials. The creator platform offers a marketplace of ‘authentic stories from everyday people, for every brand’ with a database of 12,000 verified UGC creators & micro-influencers. Clients like Unilever, Coolblue & HelloFresh are already using it.

With this acquisition, a new chapter starts for Influentials’ growth and it strengthens Somention’s position as a frontrunner in social media. Rather than a fusion of services, Somention sees the investment in Influentials as an opportunity to strengthen the platform and further expand its position in the market independently.
“In our search for the perfect partner to continue Influentials’ mission, we couldn’t imagine a better home than with Somention. Together, we will push the limits of influencer marketing, driven by innovation, passion and the power of our combined network,” said Sharon Klaver, Influentials sales representative.
“Authentic content and telling a real story for brands is what content creation is all about for Somention. We want Influentials’ growth to accelerate with this mission, while playing on the growing potential of user-generated content and micro-influencers.” Charlotte Koeleman, Managing Partner Somention.
