What have been the most significant challenges in scaling your platforms across multiple regions?
Scaling Edumgr Solutions across Africa has been a complex task due to challenges like infrastructure limitations, connectivity gaps, diverse educational systems, and resistance to digital adoption. Geographical disparities and inconsistent internet access often limit platform usability.

“Many teachers hesitate to transition from paper-based methods, fearing job displacement or struggling with digital tools,” Abuh explains.
To address these challenges, Edumgr developed a flexible, user-friendly platform with features like low data consumption and smartphone compatibility, ensuring accessibility even for schools without computer labs. Comprehensive training and ongoing support for educators have helped ease adoption, while continuous follow-ups ensure sustained engagement.
Your platform includes features like performance tracking and communication tools for parents. How do these tools enhance educational outcomes for students?
Edumgr Solutions launched its platform during the COVID-19 pandemic to support remote learning and student engagement. Post-pandemic, the platform evolved into a comprehensive system featuring:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) Modules: Automated grading and performance tracking for seamless assessments.
- AI-Driven Smart Library: Personalized study materials for students, enhancing individual learning paths.
- Comprehensive School Management Tools: Covering bursary operations, financial analytics, and parental communication for better operational efficiency.
“By directly connecting teachers, students, and parents, the platform has fostered collaboration and accountability,” says Abuh. “This holistic approach ensures improved educational outcomes and operational excellence.”
How do you measure the success of your platforms in terms of educational impact? Are there any notable success stories?
Despite initial resistance, Edumgr’s platform has seen notable adoption, supporting 93 private schools across Plateau, Lagos, and Abuja, alongside government institutions in Plateau State.
Key achievements include:
- Increased Teacher Digital Literacy: Educators previously hesitant about technology now effectively use digital tools.
- Enhanced Student Readiness: Exposure to CBT has prepared students for online exams, improving confidence and performance.
