Raxio Group has officially launched Raxio Côte d’Ivoire (CIV1), a state-of-the-art Tier III certified data centre in Abidjan. This marks the company’s fifth data centre and its third launch in 2024, reinforcing Raxio’s role in driving digital growth in West Africa’s fastest-growing economy.

CIV1 is the first carrier-neutral and cloud-neutral facility in Côte d’Ivoire. The facility is fully equipped with best-of-breed technology and capable of housing up to 800 racks at full capacity and delivering3MW of IT power to customer equipment. It will cater to the growing demand for data and local content consumption. Strategically located in Abidjan, the centre will serve the wider West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU), which includes Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, and other member states.

Situated in Situated in the Village of Innovation and Technology (VITIB), CIV1 benefits from excellent domestic and international connectivity, supported by six fibre providers. The facility also hosts Côte d’Ivoire’s Internet Exchange Point (CIVIX), offering low-cost, carrier-neutral interconnection.
