In what would be one of his first stakeholders’ interaction, the new Director-General of the Plateau Information and Communication Technology Development Agency (PICTDA), Datong Dominic Gwaman recently met with members of the Plateau Association of Tech Companies (PLATEC) and Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) Plateau Chapter in Jos.

Formed in 1978, the NCS is the umbrella organisation of all IT professionals, interest groups and stakeholders in Nigeria and the PLATEC is a collation of tech professionals and companies operating within Plateau State.
Gwaman assured that PICTDA will be stakeholders’ driven as government needs the partnership of the private sector including IT professionals to drive its policies and agenda.
According to him, Governor Caleb Mutfwang is focused on improving the economy of Plateau state and the wellbeing of the people. The government believes ICT open limitless opportunities to build people and enhance economic output across sectors.
Therefore, the administration seeks to work with all stakeholders as partners, the PICTDA boss told the stakeholders that include CEO of Smartweb Nigeria Limited, Murtala Abdullahi and CEO of A+ Computer Training Technology, Koppe Sylvanus Joseph.
