OPay is celebrating five years of operations in Nigeria with a new logo.
The company opened shop 2018 in Lagos as a one-stop digital platform offering payments, transfers, loans, savings, and other services. It develops a mobile-based platform for payment, transportation, food and grocery delivery, and others.

OPay has millions of customers in Africa across Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, and several other countries. IN Nigeria, its major competitors include Flutterwave, PalmPay, Paga, AppZone, Nomba Stax, and Chipper Cash.
“The ‘O’ represents a loop that signifies our dedication to continuously providing bespoke and impeccable services as well as our commitment to staying ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving financial landscape,” the company announced in Lagos to launch its new logo.
“Additionally, the “O” incorporates a square element indicating the newly launched OPay debit card that enables over 40 million users to link their cards to their wallets, making it easier to make payments,” it said in a statement.
