The Board of Omatek Ventures Plc is scheduled to meet on July 25 to review and potentially approve the company’s Unaudited Financial Statements (UFS) for the second quarter (Q2) of 2024.

Founded by the late Florence Seriki, Omatek Ventures is listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX) under the ticker symbol “OMATEK” and has the International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) NGOMATEX0001. Currently, Omatek Ventures is the 121st most valuable stock on the NGX, with a market capitalization of NGN 2.24 billion, representing about 0.0039% of the Nigerian Stock Exchange equity market.

The company has also informed the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) that the board will update stakeholders on the business status of the company during this meeting.

As a result, Omatek Ventures has commenced a closed period starting from Monday, July 1, 2024, which will remain in effect until 24 hours after the UFS is filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited. During this closed period, all insiders and related persons are prohibited from trading in the company’s shares.

Omatek Ventures Plc is a Nigeria-based holding company with interests in subsidiaries and associates involved in manufacturing, distribution, sales, and servicing of computer equipment and engineering services.

Through its subsidiary, Omatek Computers Limited, the company assembles and manufactures various types of computers, home entertainment products, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), inverters, and solar systems. Its product range includes desktops, notebooks, speakers, servers, solar panels, and plasma screens.

Another subsidiary, Omatek Ventures Distribution Limited, focuses on the distribution and sales of all Omatek Group products, while Omatek Engineering Services Limited handles the servicing of these products.
