This year’s Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) annual conference will feature key speakers that include Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Nigeria’s former president; the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami; and Governor, Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun – the chief host.
Pantami, a Fellow of the NCS, is the Special Guest of Honour and Chief Obasanjo is speaking in his capacity as the Grand Chairman of the NCS.

The 2022 edition is holding 3rd and 4th of August in Abeokuta city at the June 12 Cultural Centre with the theme: ‘Smart, Secure & Sustainable Nation (S3N 2022).’

The NCS is the overall body for IT professionals in Nigeria. It has evolved in response to the pervasiveness of computing and IT in Nigeria.
The conference will also be featuring other sub-themes that include “intelligent cities, e-Governance, e-Health, Smart Securities and other modern-day technologies relevant for today’s applications,’ stressed President, NCS, Prof. Sodiya Adesina.
Professor Pantami is also confirmed to deliver the guest lecture at the College of Fellows Breakfast, a major highlight of the annual conference. The confirmation was made during a recent courtesy call on Pantami in Abuja by the Provost, College of Fellows, Mr. Ibrahim Tizheat, who was accompanied by the Chairman, Conferences Committee Mr. Ayodeji Rex Abitogun.
