Newwaves Ecosystems Ltd, the promoter of versatile Konn3ct webinar and online meeting platform, has been nominated alongside giants like Zinox and Data Sciences for this year’s National IT Merit Award (NITMA2021).
It will be the first time that Newwaves or any other fintech will be nominated as best IT Company of the Year 2021.
NITMA is hosted by the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), the umbrella body of all IT practitioners and professionals. The event holds tomorrow, November 18th, 2021 inside the MUSON center, Lagos.
NITMA celebrates excellence and honours great men and institutions who had excelled in contribution to the industry and the practice over the years.
According to Mr. Femi Williams, the Chief Enabling Officer of Newwaves, “we feel highly honoured to have been so nominated in the Category of the best IT Company, it is an open declaration by our Professional collegue that we are doing something right. This nomination will surely encourage us to do more for our industry and Mankind in general”
Other activities include induction of new Fellows, award of the Digital Governor of the Year and the Prestigious IT personality of the year.
