Nigeria foremost ICT agency mandatory to formulate and implement National IT Policy, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) will be recognized for Promoting Local Content Development in Africa at the maiden Africa Information Technology & Telecom Awards (AITTA) on 21st of May 2016 at Kempinski Hotel, Accra, Ghana. AITTA 2016 will celebrate success, reward achievement and raise the profile of the Africa ICT stakeholders by honouring individuals and reward organisations promoting excellence in Africa ICT sector.
These prestigious awards are a benchmark for outstanding performance throughout the industry and symbol of excellence to mark of leadership, quality and innovation.
According to the CEO/Group Publisher of Instinctwave ,Mr Akin Naphtal , the agency has over the years been at the forefront of engaging and implementing highly beneficial innovative policies for the growth and development of the ICT sector in Nigeria. He said that the efforts have obviously been noticed and are being rewarded.
The agency will be promoting cyber security and how local content can be promoted in Africa at the 3rd West Africa Telecom Summit & Expo 2016 WATSE 2016, on 20th of May 2016 at Kempinski hotel, Ghana. WATSE 2016 is the stakeholders’ gathering that ushers in the prestigious Africa Information Technology & Telecom Awards.
