The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has warned of a fake recruitment online site purportedly receiving job applications on behalf of the agency.

NITDA is not recruiting. It is “a fake recruitment site,”  the agency’s Head, Corporate Affairs & External Relations Unit, Mrs. Hadiza Umar, has revealed in a statement.

The attention of the National Information Technology Development Agency, (NITDA) has been drawn to a fake recruitment site purported to be from the Agency circulating on the internet particularly on various phishing websites requesting for unsuspecting Nigerians to apply for NITDA 2021-2022 recruitment exercise.

NITDA is hereby notifying the general public that the Agency has not advertised vacancies in any medium and has not contracted any third party to act on its behalf in that regard.

While our Computer Emergency Readiness and Response Team (CEERT) are working to bring these sites down, we urge the general public to disregard such fake websites as they are false and misleading aim at defrauding innoncent Nigerians.
