The ITU TelecomWorld, flagship event of global telecommunications body the International Telecommunications Union, has started in Busan, South Korea with major decision makers from member countries in attendance
Nigeria’s representation is led by the Minister of Communications Adebayo Shittu, EVC/CEO of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) Prof Umar Danbatta and Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Dr. Isa Ibrahim Pantami.
The NCC is anchoring Nigeria’s presence at the event with eyes on getting investors to deepen Nigeria’s broadband penetration with a 30 percent national target for 2018.
