nHub, a leading technology hub, and Chaincode Technologies Ltd have forged a strategic collaboration to leverage Blockchain technology for a World Bank project aimed at supporting farmers in Nigeria’s North East region.

The project, part of the “North East Multi-Sectoral Crisis Recovery Project (MCRP),” focuses on enhancing agricultural livelihoods through innovative solutions. Chaincode Technologies Ltd will spearhead the design and development of a robust farmers’ database platform. This platform will facilitate the monitoring and evaluation of beneficiaries receiving Agricultural Livelihood Support from extension workers.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in Africa’s technology outsourcing landscape, highlighting the expertise and capabilities of both organizations. Mr. Pius Tongmaan, North East Client Liaison Officer at Chaincode Technologies Ltd, emphasized the importance of this collaboration in driving impactful initiatives in the region.

As part of the agreement, nHub will provide crucial developer support to Chaincode Technologies Ltd, ensuring the successful execution of the project. Mr. Bashir Sheidu, Chief Operating Officer of nHub, underscored the significance of this partnership during the signing ceremony held in Jos, Plateau State.

By harnessing Blockchain technology, the project aims to revolutionize agricultural practices in that part of Nigeria, fostering transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the delivery of support services to farmers. This collaborative effort exemplifies the potential of innovative solutions to address socio-economic challenges and drive sustainable development in Nigeria’s North East region.
