The MTN Foundation has officially signed its partnership with the United Nations Development Programme – UNDP to establish a Digital Innovation Hub in Cameroon.

The new deal is a mutual commitment by both parties to nurture the digital innovation skills of Cameroonian communities, fostering a more inclusive and sustainable digital future for all.
The MTNC Foundation represented by the CEO of MTN Cameroon Mitwa Ng’ambi and the United Nations Development Programme – UNDP represented by Aissata De, inked the partnership with a landmark Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of MTN Group Chief Sustainability & Corporate Affairs Officer, Nompilo Morafo and executive leaders from both institutions.
Ng’ambi emphasised that the partnership will empower Cameroon’s youth to actively participate in the global digital revolution as the hub will help to fuel Cameroon’s tech and innovation culture among its young entrepreneurs.
Morafo said the new deal has potential to drive innovation and inclusivity not only in Cameroon but across the entire African continent.
Martin Hart-Hansen, Deputy Resident Representative of UNDP Cameroon, said the partnership with MTN opens a new vista for empowerment of young innovators in Cameroon.
