Logidoo, a leading African logistics platform, has officially launched its pioneering China-West Africa trade corridor. This marks a significant milestone in its mission to simplify and accelerate trade between these two key regions. The new corridor offers faster, more reliable logistics solutions. It also significantly reduces shipping times and enhances trade efficiency.

The initiative follows Logidoo’s participation in the C-START program, where intensive collaboration with Chinese companies laid the foundation for this game-changing logistics solution. The partnerships, formalized in August, aim to address long-standing challenges in China-West Africa trade.
“Our China-West Africa corridor is set to redefine how businesses operate across these regions,” said Tamsir Traore Ousmane, CEO of Logidoo. “By cutting shipping times and simplifying logistics processes, we are unlocking new opportunities for economic growth and international trade.”
Trade corridor offers end-to-end freight management
The trade corridor offers end-to-end freight management for various shipments. This covers from small parcels to large containers, and features streamlined customs handling, eliminating many hurdles often associated with international trade. The corridor is designed to significantly reduce shipping times compared to traditional sea routes. Long shipping times constitute one of the most pressing challenges for businesses operating between China and West Africa.
Initially, operations will focus on Senegal, where Logidoo has a strong presence. There are plans to expand into other West African nations like Mauritania, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, and Guinea—regions where Logidoo’s network is well established.
This initiative aligns with Logidoo’s mission to support intra-African and international trade. It is reinforcing the company’s vision of becoming Africa’s logistics leader. The platform integrates advanced logistics technology, including Afridoo’s Transport Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS), to provide seamless logistics solutions of unmatched quality.
“The China-West Africa corridor is more than just a trade route. It’s a bridge connecting continents and cultures,” Traore added. “We are thrilled about the opportunities this creates for businesses and the positive impact on economic development in both regions.”
With its innovative approach, Logidoo continues to drive economic growth and foster stronger trade relations between China and West Africa.
