Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has announced the unbundling of its Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in Mass Communication and Computer Science, in line with directives from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

According to the institution’s Rector, Dr. Abdul Mohammed, the move aims to enhance the quality and relevance of technical education in response to industry demands. The changes will take effect from the 2024/2025 academic session, as stated in a release signed by the polytechnic’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mrs. Halimat Garba.

Dr. Mohammed emphasized that the unbundling was necessary to meet the evolving needs of the global Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) sector, ensuring that graduates are better prepared for the job market and emerging trends in these fields.
