MainOne extends connectivity services to south-west Nigeria
In its effort to rapidly enhance broadband penetration across the country, MainOne, a wholesale communications services company showcased its broadband solutions to educational institutions, government agencies and commercial concerns in Oyo State and environs.
In a Business Connectivity event held in Ibadan in collaboration with Phase3 Telecoms in alliance with various telcos and national long distance operators, MainOne will now be able to offer its enterprise customers in the region the ability to deploy, manage and automate network and compute resources in Nigeria, remotely from any location.
Bolanle Ogundogba, Head of Sales at MainOne, while speaking at the Business Connectivity seminar noted most multinational and businesses enterprises are increasingly looking for growth opportunities in the south west states of Ogun, Oyo, Osun and others. This expansion creates connectivity challenge for the average IT Head who needs to interconnect his branches, using fast and reliable access to enhance business-critical systems without the significant CAPEX budget required to build infrastructure locally. The proliferation of educational institutions and learning centres in the region also provides MainOne the opportunity to meet customer demand for scalable services in Oyo State and its environs, and ensure its reliable connectivity solutions keep organization at pace with the speed of business transformation, and also pave the way for future growth.
