By CWG wins Beacon of ICT award
Computer Warehouse Group Plc (CWG), one of Nigeria leading Information Technology Company that also has physical and virtual presence in some other Africa countries has emerge Beacon of ICT (BoICT) award ICT Solutions Provider of the Year.
The Beacon of ICT Award organised by Nigeria Communications Week was instituted in 2008 to celebrate and reward best practices and outstanding contributions towards the growth and development of ICT in Nigeria. In fact, it is primarily designed to recognize public and private organizations as well as individuals who have excelled in the application of ICT solutions in Nigeria.
Receiving the award from the chairman of the event Dr. Ernest Ndukwe, a former Executive Vice-Chairman of the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) Dayo Abegunde, Associate Vice President at CWG said “we are deeply honoured to be recognized and appreciated for our contribution in using ICT to improve the economy.” He congratulated the organiser of the event, saying the award will go a long way in motivating other stakeholders to come out with projects that will ensure technology growth in the country.
