Governor Hope Uzodimma described the partnership as a transformative economic shift that will drive job creation. The partnership will drive digital skill development, and international business opportunities for Imo-based entrepreneurs.
“Our vision is to position Imo State as a prime destination for technology investment and innovation. By collaborating with USMAC, we will open doors for our young people to develop world-class skills, attract international companies, and create an enabling environment for startups to thrive. This is a critical step in our commitment to economic diversification and job creation,” said Governor Uzodimma.

1. Digital Skills Training for the Global Tech Market
- Imo Digital City will provide world-class training in high-demand technology fields, including software development, artificial intelligence (AI), data science, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.

2. Startup Incubation and Acceleration
- A Founder Development Program will be launched, offering:
- Mentorship from Silicon Valley experts
- Business acceleration programs

- Participating entrepreneurs will also receive certification from the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, University of California, Berkeley.
3. Attracting International Investment and Global Partnerships
