Remember how part of our goals was to provide a universal ID management with one account, reducing the stress of multiple password for different services?
Now we even made it better! We’re now truly password-less using a one-time password (OTP). At points of registration, login or password reset, users can now use the OTP password-less option to request for a token to access hubs dot ng.
What does this mean to our digital ecosystem?
Millions of Nigerians can now access a digital Nigeria with services they use daily ad not have to check their mails for verification links or worry about what password to use and remember anytime they’ll be using hubs dot ng.
The OTP was introduced as a means to further tighten our verification process of user/human generated login or signup with ease. The use of OTP is been used in the fintech industry to process online card payment as a technology called 3DS.
Emily (AI)
Mid 2018 we released our first Ai (Emily) on hubs dot ng as an assistant. Emily helped users to easily navigate to services they needed via conversation (chat), took review and did the basic things a customer relationship tasks. Moving forward we began to look at deeper integration of Emily into or services on hubs dot ng.
We’re thrilled to announced that Emily now have a shopping assistant feature ; helping users perform tasks like product search, place order, view shopping cart, check order status and lots more. We wanted users to have personalized feel with Emily and now Emily can now say HELLO! Welcome users by name (if signed in) or ask for guest name for a warm welcome and un-boarding on hubs dot ng.
What’s next on Emily?
To further integrate artificial intelligence into Nigeria’s first digital ecosystem (hubs dot ng) we’ll be introducing extended search function on Emily. This will make available incredible search options for music via Hubs Music, Listings via BizDirect, video search via Hubs TV and lots more within our hub of services.
Hubs Music
In our bid to make every platform on hubs dot ng relevant and profitable for users, we’re glad to say that artiste in Nigeria can now sell their music for as low as ₦50 via Hubs Music.
Looking at the music industry in Nigeria, it is agreed that music streaming platform will not be adoptable by the Nigerian audience which in turn cuts down the revenue for artiste. Challenges facing the streaming industry is price of data (internet service access) and cost of subscription to streaming services monthly. Now we provide a pay per download music platform (Hubs Music), users can access their purchase history to download previously purchases and enjoy them offline while artiste generate revenue on every paid purchase of their songs on Hubs Music. Check out our video on how artiste can generate 6 figures with their music with Hubs Music here >> LINK
