The comprehensive training program is scheduled to run in batches throughout March 2025. It is designed to enhance digital literacy among government officials. This will ensure that Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) efficiently utilize Govmail for secure, streamlined communication while adhering to global best practices in data protection and cybersecurity.
Driving Digital Transformation in Governance
This initiative aligns with the Federal Government’s digitalization agenda, which prioritizes secure, efficient, and technology-driven governance. By equipping civil servants with the necessary expertise to optimize Govmail, government is strengthening workers’ capacity.
- Seamless communication across MDAs

- Operational efficiency and service delivery
Prof. Ibrahim Adeyanju, Managing Director/CEO of Galaxy Backbone highlights importance of the training. He also reaffirmed GBB’s commitment to advancing Nigeria’s digital transformation.

The training is being conducted in collaboration with the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF). It has issued a Circular to all MDAs directing their participation in the program.
Chidi Okpala, Head of Corporate Communications at GBB, in a statement said this initiative further underscores government’s commitment. The GBB is aligned to government’s dedication to building a digitally-driven public service. The platform offers hands-on engagement with Govmail’s features and compliance with approved digital communication standards.
