This led to the establishment of two critical agencies: the Benue Digital Infrastructure Company PLC (BDIC) and the Benue State Digital Infrastructure Services Management Enforcement Agency (BENDISMEA). These agencies are tasked with regulating and implementing digital solutions to enhance government operations within the state.

“Our visit to Galaxy Backbone’s Network Operations Centre, Tier III Data Centre, and Security Operations Centre is more than just a tour. It signifies our commitment to advancing Benue State’s technological infrastructure,” said Governor Alia.

He emphasized that the partnership between Benue State and Galaxy Backbone, facilitated through BDIC, heralds a new era in the state’s ICT development. This is even more important as the state moves towards digitizing government operations and business activities.

GBB’s Managing Director/CEO, Professor Ibrahim Adeyanju, reiterated the company’s dedication to delivering robust digital infrastructure. GBB is already strengthening is market presence as a provider of comprehensive services, including cloud computing, colocation, connectivity, and cybersecurity.
