Free eLearning Indaba aims to inspire skills development

The global skills gap is widening with many companies struggling to find the talent they need to thrive. The Employment Outlook Survey found that the talent shortage is at its worst point in 16 years. And a recent analysis by the Harvard Business Review (HBR) found that millions of people are struggling to find work. It’s a complex environment, one that asks for companies to adopt innovative approaches that will allow them to not just curate the right skills, but grow them.

Since 2013 the eLearning Indaba has grown to attract specialists and attendees from around the world. Top speakers have included many international experts, and discussion panels have hosted representatives from well-known South African companies like the City Lodge Hotel Group, Wellness Warehouse, Redefine Properties, Bidvest Bank and Allan Gray.

The free online eLearning Indaba features a variety of annual online and hybrid sessions providing Human Resources (HR) and Learning and Development (L&D) professionals with international learning and development resources trends, and best-practice methods. It offers keynotes, workshops, topic breakouts, ask-me-anything sessions, and opportunities to collaborate with like-minded peers who are focussed on innovative eLearning methods.

The last online event of 2022 kicks off at 10h00 on 22 November where members of New Leaf Technologies will host an interactive online workshop providing tips and tricks on how to create inspiring learning journeys. Topics will include ‘What is the RIGHT technology for learning and skills development?’, ‘How and why a storyboard is key’, ‘Success through Analytics’ and finishing with an opportunity to ‘Ask us Anything’ panel discussion.
