FirstBank of Nigeria, West Africa’s premier financial institution, has commenced construction of its groundbreaking 40-story green-certified headquarters in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos. The skyscraper, set to become Nigeria’s tallest building, underscores the bank’s 130-year legacy of innovation while pioneering sustainable architecture in Africa’s banking sector.
“This HQ isn’t just a building—it’s a symbol of our commitment to Africa’s sustainable future. By 2028, this tower will house cutting-edge solutions driving financial inclusion, climate resilience, and AI-powered banking for 40 million customers,” said Dr. Olusegun Alebiosu, FirstBank Group CEO.
