The Nigerian Fintech Festival 2024, the largest fintech event in the country, is set to take place in Lagos on September 26, 2024.  Event is sponsored by FirstBank, West Africa’s premier financial institution. The festival is expected to bring together over 1,000 industry stakeholders from the fintech and financial services sectors. The event is focusing on fostering collaboration to deepen digital payments and unlock sustainable growth in Nigeria’s business ecosystem.

The main theme is “Convergence to Co-Create & Celebrate Nigeria’s Truly Digital Economy.”  The gathering will highlight innovation and cooperation in Nigeria’s evolving digital landscape. Esteemed speakers include Damilare Odueso, Co-Founder of Crendly; Mayowa Owolabi, and Co-Founder of PaddyCover. Others are Lanre Adelanwa,  CEO of Optimus AI Labs; and Adaobi Igwe-Okerekeocha, Chief Innovations Officer at Interswitch Limited, among others.

In addition, event will offer thought-provoking panel discussions, keynote speeches, and fireside chats. The festival aims to equip participants with the skills and insights needed to accelerate Nigeria’s digital economy. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with key fintech leaders and stakeholders. This should enhance collaboration within the financial services ecosystem.
