The 18th edition of eLearning Africa is set to take place May 7 – 9, 2025. Event is holding inside Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre, Dar es Salaam. Co-hosted by Tanzania’s Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, this year’s conference is expected to be one of the largest in its 18-year history. It is touted as the continent’s leading conference and exhibition on digital education, training, and skills development.

eLearning Africa 2025 holds with the theme“Re-imagining Education and Human Capital Development for Africa’s Future Prosperity,” It will explore how the continent can leverage its vast human and natural resources to drive sustainable development through education, skills training, and technological innovation.

Tanzania’s Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Adolf Mkenda recently said:

“Africa’s youth boom could be a time bomb in the making,” emphasizing that “only education can defuse it.”

Fostering collaboration among Africa’s policymakers, educators

The eLearning Africa 2025 platform is fostering collaboration among Africa’s leading policymakers, educators, and industry leaders. This will help in shaping strategies that equip young people with the skills needed to foster a prosperous and resilient future.

Building on the success of previous years, eLearning Africa 2025 is set to bring together over 1,200 participants from more than 85 countries. This includes educators, policymakers, technologists, business leaders, and innovators to name just a few. The event will feature 70+ sessions and workshops, alongside an extensive exhibition area showcasing cutting-edge educational technologies and solutions. Key topics will include:

Africa’s e-learning market to grow to $19.76 billion by 2034
