The third edition of the Africa Public Sector Conference & Awards (APSCA) is set to hold from March 27th to March 30th, 2022 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) in Dubai.
APSCA 2022 is holding with the theme, “Repositioning Africa’s Public Sector for Sustainable Growth” and is expected to bring together more than 200 senior leaders in public and private sector from across Africa including policy makers, legislators and other stakeholders.
The event will throw light on some of the continent’s pressing challenges pertaining to public interests, share best practices, G2G, G2B. G2C experiences and articulate on how African ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) can work towards building a robust economy as Africa’s over 1.2 billion people transit into a digital economy.

Hosted previously in Kigali, Rwanda and Accra, Ghana, APSCA 2022 is berthing in Dubai as organisers seek to expand the value of shared experiences in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region to enhance delivery quality of Africa’s MDAs, said a press statement released in Lagos by at the weekend by Akin Naphtal, the CEO of Instinct Wave, organisers of APSCA 2022.
Naphtal expressed his excitement about Dubai hosting the third edition and hopes for consolidation of enterprise verves and collaborations across the MEA through APSCA 2022.
“The time has come to connect our minds and create a future for the continent through sustainability, mobility and opportunity. APSCA 2022 is the platform to achieve the desired future. That is why is holding APSCA in Dubai during the ongoing Expo 2020, Dubai which ends on 31st March. APSCA 2022 will be a convergence of public stakeholders across the sub region. Civil servants and public officials from Ghana, Kenya, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, South Africa and Nigeria will be in attendance”
“Our exponential growth as a continent is tied to our governments. African citizens are demanding real-time services from government agencies. This means that public institutions must constantly improve their service delivery models in order to attain the expected exponential public sector growth,” he added.
The conference will discuss ways in which the public sector can promote growth and efficiency through adoption of technology and capacity building. It also provides opportunities to build partnerships, share insights on industry trends, business strategies and policies. The forum serves as a capacity building tool and strengthens policies and decision-making in the public sector.
There will also be an awards ceremony that will honour outstanding public sector agencies and leaders who have demonstrated excellence in service delivery. Recognition will also be bestowed on outstanding public servants who have showcased excellence in policy innovation and exceptional leadership at various levels of governance. Stakeholders that have supported public sector’s growth in various ways through technology and service support will also be recognized and rewarded.
This recognition aims to inspire a new generation of robust work ethics, industry leaders and desired processes in the public sector.
