Digital Realty CEO Ikechukwu Nnamani has been inducted into the prestigious Titans of Tech (TOT) Hall of Fame during the 20th anniversary awards ceremony held recently in Lagos.

Recognized for his exceptional contributions to Nigeria’s ICT sector, Nnamani was earlier in the year named one of Nigeria’s 50 Most Valuable Personalities in Digital Economy by IT Edge News.Africa.
Nnamani, a former president of the Association of Telecoms Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) and founder of several ICT companies, including Medallion Communication Limited (now Digital Realty), has been celebrated as a pioneer in bridging the digital divide and a key investor in the continent’s digital technology sector.
The Titans of Tech Awards annually honour industry leaders for their outstanding achievements. Don Pedro Aganbi, Convener of the Titans of Tech Awards, praised Nnamani, stating, “Engr. Ikechukwu Nnamani is a visionary who has transformed the ICT industry. His dedication to building robust digital infrastructure has been instrumental in driving Nigeria’s economic growth and development.”
Under Nnamani’s leadership, Digital Realty has become Africa’s leading data center platform, with over 70 connectivity providers and 68% of traffic flowing through the Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria.
Digital Realty was also recognized at the 20th TOT as the ‘Global Data Centre Platform of the Year’, highlighting the company’s commitment to delivering world-class data center solutions.
Last May in the ‘CEOs Conversation Series with IT Edge News.Africa’, Nnamani emphasised Digital Realty’s role in Nigeria’s digital economy, stating, “We are rolling out services in the Nigerian market that will offer seamless connectivity across all our datacenters and enhance the digital economy in Nigeria. Digital Realty is committed to supporting the emerging digital economy by implementing the necessary infrastructure.”
