Cybalt, a Black Box® company specializing in cybersecurity solutions, successfully shielded its enterprise clients from the severe disruptions caused by the July 19 CrowdStrike update, which led to the crash of 8.5 million Microsoft Windows® PCs and servers.

Acting swiftly, Cybalt’s Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) team identified the threat, collaborated with CrowdStrike’s global support team, and implemented preventative measures to protect clients.

While the CrowdStrike update caused widespread issues, including the closure of ports and delays in medical procedures, Cybalt’s proactive approach minimized the impact on its enterprise customers. This incident highlights the critical need for vigilant monitoring, coordinated responses, and robust disaster recovery practices across the tech ecosystem.
