Link or SMS asking customers to participate in an online satisfaction survey is fake. Do not respond to such messages as your banking account could be hijacked by cyber criminals.
Ecobank Nigeria is alerting its customers to be wary of fraudsters’ antics desiring to compromise their banking accounts.
The bank in an email has warned customers not to click on link or SMS purporting to emanate from Ecobank and requesting customers participate in an online satisfaction survey.

The “fraudulent and malicious links and SMS circulating, purported from Ecobank asking customers to participate in an online satisfaction survey,” with the possibility of winning prizes are not from Ecobank.
“Please be advised that the link is not from Ecobank Nigeria, or from any of its affiliate or member or Ecobank Group,” the bank warns.
Ecobank will never ask you to call or disclose personal information.
