The Internet Society (ISOC) Nigeria Chapter has opened application for the 2022 Nigerian School on Internet Governance with a limited number of Fellowship support. Female candidates and young adults are encouraged to apply. Interested applicants are to apply on or before May 20, 2022.

The Nigerian School on Internet is part of efforts to build additional Internet Governance capacity within Nigeria. The training series, the 3rd in the series, is a a collaborative effort by the ISOC together with other industry partners.

The Schools on Internet Governance have helped many notable countries groom citizens that have risen to take up key/strategic positions and influence the global Internet ecosystem.

“The training is scheduled to take place in Nigeria, the school will precede the Nigerian Internet Governance Forum 2022 (NIGF2022) to give participants the practical experience of participating at a national Internet Governance Forum,”  said Vice President, ISOC, Nigeria Chapter, Kunle Olorundare.
