Chief Technical Officer, Harmanpreet Dhillon, confirmed that Airtel Nigeria is actively exploring solar power to mitigate rising fuel costs and reduce dependence on diesel. This initiative aligns with the company’s broader goals of operational efficiency and environmental sustainability, offering a cleaner, more affordable energy solution amidst the country’s ongoing energy crisis.

As Airtel Nigeria pivots towards solar energy, the company aims to lead the way in sustainable practices within the telecom industry, while alleviating the financial burden of diesel reliance.
