The tripartite initiative, formalized during a press conference in Abuja, saw AfriLabs, Africa’s largest pan-African network of over 500 technology and innovation hubs across 53 countries, sign separate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with both MSwitch Creative Hub and Cybersecurity INC USA. The partnership will connect highly skilled African professionals to global employment opportunities, leveraging the digital platform Remoting.Work to facilitate recruitment, training, and job placements in sectors such as software development, customer service, cybersecurity, healthcare, digital marketing, and more.

Bringing Global Jobs to African Soil

Ajibola Odukoya, Chief Operating Officer of AfriLabs, emphasized the transformative nature of the collaboration:

“Africa holds immense talent, yet many professionals leave the continent in search of opportunities elsewhere. At AfriLabs, we are tackling this challenge by bringing world-class opportunities directly to Africa. This initiative empowers professionals to work remotely for international companies while remaining in their local environments—driving innovation and boosting local economies.”

According to Odukoya, over 200,000 international businesses have already signed up on the Remoting.Work platform, with at least 500,000 job roles projected to be created over the next few years. Nigeria, as Africa’s leading tech hub, will serve as the launchpad for the initiative, which will then scale across the continent.

MSwitch Creative Hub to Drive Training and Infrastructure

As the lead implementation partner, MSwitch Creative Hub will provide the foundational infrastructure and critical upskilling needed to equip African professionals for the global digital workforce. This includes fully serviced co-working spaces equipped with 24/7 electricity, high-speed internet, and access to industry-standard tools—removing typical productivity barriers for remote professionals.
