African countries including Kenya, South Africa, Uganda and Rwanda are among several others confirmed for the December 2, 2022 launch of the continent’s first humanoid robot “Omeife” in Abuja which will also have a strong presence by the government of Finland.

She speaks African languages and is programmed to have a deep understanding of African culture and behavioral patterns.
“Africa and the rest of world join Nigeria to unveil this remarkable feat in robotic engineering,” organizers said.
Event begins at 10:00 AM inside the Lagos/Osun Hall, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja
The erudite Pantami is expected to lead the official unveiling under the theme: ‘The Future of Artificial Intelligence in African Tech Ecosystem’ with stakeholders expected from government, the diplomatic corps, academic and research institutions, business and investment communities as well as the technology & innovation sector.
The global unveiling of ‘Omeife’ took place in GITEX GLOBAL, Dubai, last month October.
