ADEF sets to hold digital economy webinar October 29
The Africa Digital Economy Forum (ADEF) will be setting an agenda for the continent’s digital economy at a webinar slated for October 29 2022. This webinar is part of a series to be held by ADEF.
Themed- “Removing Fears of Digitization” the webinar will discuss how the government and other stakeholders could remove the fears of digitization and create better opportunities for African business and what’s ahead for 2022, which looks to be a time for both responsibility and opportunity.
The webinar will be headlined by high-level industry professionals and thought-leaders in the African technological space.

Commenting on the webinar, President/Co-founder of ADEF, Mr. Olusola Teniola said Africa is gradually making its transition into technology-enabled economies. “In the last two decades, the continent has witnessed a rash of investments, policies, and regulations targeting to improve the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure environment. The results have been a mix of blessings and disappointments.
“There is a conscious drive by governments to lay the foundations for a vibrant digital economy driven by millions of the continent’s young innovative youths.” He noted.
Mr. Teniola further explained that the webinar would serve as a platform that connects industry leaders to share insights on the continent’s digital economy and advance the course of African digitalization while providing a unique networking opportunity for participants.
