The Network of Northern Incubators and Accelerators (NNIA) was honored to host Engr. Shuaibu Bello MNSE PMP® SSA to the Kaduna State Government on ICT, on a tour of the dynamic Jos tech ecosystem. Alongside Mr. Olusegun Oruame CEO of Knowhow Media, Engr. Shuaibu, currently at NIPSS, Vom, made it a point to witness firsthand the impact of innovation in Jos, Plateau State.

Our first stop was Thinkhub.  Inside the creative hub, the visionary Creative Director, Mr. Iyanuoluwa Oluborode took us through their exciting programs and future goals to drive innovation and creativity.

At KCHub Mr. Che Yusuph a founding member and Training Lead, shared inspiring stories of their impactful free training programs. He revealed how the hub has been empowering youths and transforming lives.

We were then welcomed to Axia Technology and Innovation Hub (Axia Hub) founded by Nnamdi Ibe, during their official workspace launch. The energy and vision behind this new space were remarkable!

Need for partnerships to unlock Northern Nigeria’s tech scene

At Blockfuse Labs, we were inspired by their journey and mission to shape the future of decentralized tech. Blockfuse is Northern Nigeria’s first Web3 hub. it is co-founded by the exceptional duo Longs Pemun Gotar. and Peter Adaaku Jr,

Finally, our tour concluded at nHub the oldest hub in Jos and Northern Nigeria, where the resourceful Mr. Eyinmosan Sholaye the Community Manager, introduced us to their incubation programs, tech training, and the promising Sevocoder program.

Engr. Shuaibu emphasized the need for partnerships, collaboration and knowledge sharing. He said talent retention is important to further unlock the potential of Northern Nigeria’s tech scene.

Together, NNIA is excited to forge stronger connections and nurture the growing innovation ecosystem across Northern Nigeria.
